My name is Jessica and I am an experienced educator with a background in early elementary instruction, literacy intervention, and inclusive classroom support. I’ve spent most of my career in Title I schools, where I’ve worked closely with diverse student populations. I have a strong commitment to equity, relationship-based teaching, and evidence-based literacy practices.
I believe that great teaching is grounded in connection, curiosity, and adaptability. No matter where or when, I bring a calm, student-centered approach and a deep love of learning. I’m especially passionate about helping struggling readers grow into confident, capable learners-and about making school a place where every child feels safe, seen, and successful.
Outside of the classroom, I love to spend time with my 2 year old daughter, paint, and practice getting better at gardening (It doesn’t exactly come naturally 😳)
