I’m highly proficient in integrating technology to enhance instruction, engagement, and accessibility. I have extensive experience using Promethean and SMART Boards to support interactive lessons, along with fluency in both Google Suite and Microsoft Office for planning, collaboration, and documentation.
Having taught during COVID lockdowns, I can say that I’m confident in delivering instruction across digital platforms, including Zoom, OBS Studio, and Google Classroom. I also have a strong eye for instructional design, using tools like Canva to create clear, engaging classroom visuals and materials.
I’m also well-versed in a wide range of educational technology tools, including Clever, Lexia, IXL, Prodigy, Canvas, and Flipgrid. I use these tools to support differentiated instruction, student practice, and formative assessment. I stay current with new tech and quickly adapt to unfamiliar platforms, often supporting colleagues in learning and troubleshooting digital tools.
In addition, I’m skilled in using social media for professional learning, family communication, and celebrating student growth. While I’m not an IT professional, I’m confident, independent, and resourceful when navigating technology (I created this website! 😎) and always looking for creative ways to enhance learning through digital tools.
